AK Interactive AK8026 Splatter Effects Wet Mud (100 ml) creates fresh, wet mud and damp deposits. The consistency is ideal for realistic applications on the undercarriage, fenders, wheels, and tracks, as well as for integrating the model with the terrain of a diorama or wargaming base.
Recommended Procedure
- Mix the product thoroughly. The surface must be dry, clean, and already primed.
- For a continuous application, use an older brush; dab to create an irregular texture and focus the effect on the lower parts of the model.
- To create a spatter effect, pick up a small amount on the brush and run a toothpick across the bristles. You can create a finer spatter by directing a stream of air from an airbrush across the brush.
- Build up the intensity in several thin applications. Adjust the transitions and flow with a small amount of water or acrylic thinner.
- Wash your tools with water before the product dries.
