AK Enamel effects WASH FOR PANZER GREY VEHICLES

AK Interactive AK070 Wash for Panzer Grey Vehicles (35 ml) is a ready-to-use enamel wash with good flow that highlights seams, rivets, welds, panels, and other recessed details. This specific shade is designed for German vehicles in the Panzer Gray color. The shade is designed to deepen the details of the gray camouflage while giving it a more natural color variation than a pure black wash.

The wash is not a covering paint. Its thin consistency allows it to flow into recesses, where it creates shadows and visually separates individual structural elements. The intensity can be controlled by the amount of product applied and by subsequent cleaning of the surface.

Recommended Procedure

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure the pigment is evenly mixed.
2. Apply to a completely dry, painted or varnished surface. A smooth satin or glossy varnish will facilitate precise seepage into the seams; if using an unfamiliar combination, first test compatibility on a hidden area.
3. Using a medium-sized round brush, apply the wash around details, into joints, and into recesses. For a precise pin wash, use a fine, pointed brush.
4. Let the product dry for about 15 minutes. Remove excess with a clean brush lightly dampened with White Spirit or a milder, odorless thinner.
5. Repeat the cleaning process until only the desired shadow remains around the details. Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying any further enamel effects.

Helpful tip: Concentrate the wash in the seams, around hatches, and around rivets; wipe it off flat surfaces in the direction that water and dirt would run.

Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to touch up and remove excess. AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is suitable for gentler and less aggressive blending.
