This is not a standard glossy varnish, but a special-effect product designed to produce varying degrees of a wet look. The intensity of the sheen is influenced by the amount of product applied and the surface beneath it.
Recommended Procedure
- Work on a fully cured surface and test compatibility with the paints and varnishes used in an inconspicuous area.
- Using a fine brush, apply a small amount only to areas where water naturally pools or runs. For puddles, apply several thin layers instead of one thick one.
- Softly blend the edges with a brush lightly dampened with White Spirit. Leave some areas almost dry so the wet look doesn’t appear too uniform.
- Add the next layer only after the previous one has dried. This effect can be combined with earthy tones to create wet mud.
- Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying another coat or another enamel effect.
Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to blend and remove excess. For finer work and less odor, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
