Brand: Italeri

Italeri FIAT MEFISTOFELE 21706 c.c. in 1:12 scale recreates the extraordinary one-off speed machine derived from the old Fiat SB4 chassis. The car became famous as Mephistofele for the thunderous sound of its aircraft inline-six engine of more than 20,000 cm3, with open exhausts left without mufflers. On 12 July 1924 at Arpajon, Ernest Eldridge drove it to 146.01 mph, over 230 km/h, and set a world land speed record.

The finished model measures 45 cm, consists of over 500 parts and is rated Skill 5 by Italeri. Part of the assembly uses screws. The opening bonnet reveals the highly detailed liquid-cooled Fiat A-12 engine, while working steering adds to the mechanical character of the subject. In this large scale, the car’s tall rear bodywork and uncompromising record-focused design stand out especially well.

The box includes a decal sheet, a clear sheet and a separate box with screws, rope and other parts.
