Tamiya 74129 Plastic/Soft Metal Side Cutter
The Tamiya 74129 Plastic/Soft Metal Side Cutter is a versatile cutter for thick plastic and soft metals such as aluminium and brass. Tamiya says it gives a smoother cut surface than other side cutters.
The Tamiya 74129 (Craft Side Cutter for Plastic/Soft Metal) has a multitude of uses: thick plastic on R/C car, Mini 4WD and static model sprues, plastic pipe, as well as aluminium, brass and other soft metals. It gives a smoother cut surface than other side cutters, and easy-grip handles make for efficient work.
Tamiya lists the cuttable material thicknesses as: plastic up to 3mm, aluminium wire up to 2.5mm, copper wire up to 2mm, brass wire up to 2mm and nickel silver wire up to 1.5mm.
