Vallejo Game Air 72704 Elf Skintone (17ml)
Airbrush-ready paints with intense shades for fantasy and sci-fi figures. Ideal for subtle shading, layering and bold effects.
Vallejo Game Air 72704 Elf Skintone (18 ml) is the Elf Skintone shade from the Vallejo Game Air range. Game Air are water-based acrylic paints prepared for airbrush and designed mainly for fantasy, sci-fi, and wargaming miniatures.
The paints have fine pigment, good coverage, and a consistency suitable for smooth spraying of thin layers. They are useful for quick base coating of figures, color transitions, shading larger areas, and for working on wargaming armies where speed and shade repeatability are important.
Shake the paint thoroughly before use. It can usually be used directly from the bottle, but depending on the nozzle, pressure, and desired fineness, you can adjust it with Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. For a more durable result on figures, we recommend working on a primed surface and protecting the finished model with varnish.
Technical Information and Recommendations
- Type: Water-based acrylic paint prepared for airbrush
- Volume: 18 ml with dropper
- Application: primarily airbrush; can also be used with a brush after adjusting consistency
- Finish: matte to satin depending on the shade, substrate, and layer thickness
- Thinners: Vallejo Airbrush Thinner 71161 and if needed Flow Improver 71262
- Recommended pressure: approximately 15-20 psi (1-1.5 bar); always depending on the nozzle, substrate, and desired layer

- Recommended varnishes: Matt Varnish 70520, Satin Varnish 70522, Gloss Varnish 70510

For a clean spray, it is better to apply multiple thin layers than one thick one. For small figures and intricate surfaces, lower pressure, closer distance, and gradually building up coverage will help.
