Tamiya 87150 Sanding Sponge Sheet 1500
Tamiya 87150 Sanding Sponge Sheet 1500 is a P1500 abrasive sheet on 5 mm thick foam, measuring 114 × 140 mm. The flexible backing follows the shape of the part, making it especially useful on curved surfaces.
The aluminium oxide abrasive is bonded to 5 mm thick high-density polyethylene foam. The foam spreads finger pressure evenly, so even strongly curved surfaces are sanded uniformly. The sheet can be cut with a modelling knife and is suitable for wet sanding.
The very fine P1500 grit refines surfaces after fine sanding and prepares areas that are meant to end up smooth and glossy. The reverse shows the product name and grit, with each grit printed in a different colour for easy identification. One sheet per pack.
