Vallejo Pigments 73112 Chrome Oxide Green (35ml)

Vallejo Pigment FX 73112 Chrome Oxide Green (35 ml) is a fine powdered Vallejo Pigment FX in the shade of chrome oxide green. It is suitable for natural surfaces, vegetation, old wood, damp areas, soil, leaves, and for subtly harmonizing the colors of dioramas.

The pigment can be applied dry for a subtle surface tint or mixed with a fixative for more durable applications of soil, leaves, moss, and natural details in dioramas.

• Dry application: brush, dabbing, rubbing into the surface, and gradual layering

• Surface: Looks most natural on a matte or soft satin finish
• Fixation: a fixative or a very light coat of varnish; varnish may darken the pigment and partially alter the final shade

Work with the pigments gradually and in small amounts. Dry application works well for a light dusting and to even out the surface, while wet application is suitable for thicker layers, mud, rust, or deposits. Before final fixation, it’s a good idea to test the result on an inconspicuous area, as both the varnish and the fixative can make the pigment appear darker.
