1/32 F-86D Sabre Dog
Kitty Hawk 's 1/32 scale F-86D Sabre Dog kit is a detailed model of the North American F-86D fighter aircraft, based on the original F-86 Sabre. This version, known as the "Sabre Dog", was designed as an all-weather fighter with a distinctive radome in the nose and without the classic machine gun armament, instead carrying 24 unguided Mighty Mouse missiles in a retractable submunition magazine. The kit features precision-machined plastic parts, a detailed cockpit, realistic engine, and the option of open or closed engine and missile magazine covers. Also included are photo-etched parts for fine detail and decals for several versions of markings, including US Air Force and other users. Instead of the traditional machine gun armament, it was equipped with a retractable submunition magazine with 24 unguided 2.75-inch Mighty Mouse missiles designed to destroy enemy bombers.
