1/350 Aircraft Carrier Weser
Trumpeter 1/350 Weser is a plastic kit of the planned German aircraft carrier. It depicts the completed form of the unfinished conversion of the cruiser Seydlitz. Ar 195, Bf 109, Ju 87 and Fi 167 aircraft are included. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
Trumpeter 1/350 Weser suits a collection of unrealised wartime projects. Its long flight deck and embarked aircraft illustrate the proposed new role for Seydlitz; the actual ship never entered service in this form.
Over 560 parts comprise 29 sprues, hull and decks. Photo-etched parts provide railings and other details, accompanied by anchor chain and decals for both ship and aircraft. At 629.8 mm long and 106 mm wide, the model requires a suitably sized display space. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
