1/48 Hurricane Mk I Trop
Arma Hobby 1/48 Hawker Hurricane Mk I Trop is a plastic model of British WWII fighter aircraft. The kit includes all-new fuselage, wing, radiator and propeller molds (2025), detailed cockpit and the option to build in standard or tropical configuration. Included are high quality decals with historic RAF and SAAF markings, masks for transparent parts and wheels, detailed instructions in English and Czech and a code to download 3D accessories (pilot seat with straps, exhaust manifolds). It offers three variants of markings including the machine on which Lt. Robert Kershaw rescued his commander in Ethiopia (March 1941). Package does not include paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
The 1/48-scale Hawker Hurricane Mk I Trop from Arma Hobby represents a completely new generation of models of the legendary British fighter aircraft, which saw action in Africa, over Malta, and in East Africa.
The tropical version was specially modified for extreme conditions—featuring a distinctive dust filter and other modifications to ensure reliability in heat and dust. The model features precisely rendered details on the fuselage, wings, radiator, and propellers, fine panel lines and rivets, a detailed cockpit, and clear parts.
