Model Kit military 13568 - M113 FITTER ARV (1:35)
The Academy 13568 M113 Fitter ARV is a 1/35 plastic kit of the Israeli recovery and repair vehicle based on the M113. Its most prominent feature is the hydraulic crane.
The M113 armoured personnel carrier is one of the most widespread military vehicles ever built and spawned many specialised versions. The Israeli army used the name Fitter for a repair and recovery vehicle with a crane on the rear hull, which helped in the field with changing engines and other heavy components of armoured vehicles.
The Academy kit depicts the Fitter in its Israeli form. The box art shows the vehicle in sand colour with a large number 19 on the side and front, a crane, a roof-mounted machine gun, jerrycans and a spare wheel.
The wealth of equipment and fittings gives the model the character of a working vehicle and suits a field repair scene alongside a tank or other vehicles. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
